PHARMACEUTICAL PROPERTIES
Levamisole is an anthelmintic from the imidazothiazole family with great activity on the larval and adult forms of gastrointestinal and pulmonary strongles. The mode of action of Levamisole is linked to muscle paralysis of the parasites. Levamisole is well absorbed by the oral route; it diffuses well in all tissues which allows it to reach pulmonary nematodes and forms in hypobiosis. Levamisole has non-specific immunostimulatory effects. Levamisole is rapidly metabolized by the liver and eliminated via the urinary and bile ducts, hence its relatively short waiting time. Praziquantel is an anthelmintic of the family of pyrazino isoquinoline very active on tapeworms. Its action is exerted on both adult and immature forms. On the pharmacological level, Praziquantel exerts its action in various ways including in particular the induction of a paralyzing muscular contraction and the destruction of the integument of the cestode. It is rapidly absorbed from the digestive tract in all species. His metabolism is complete and rapid. The two products, Levamisole and Praziquantel, are characterized by a comparable and relatively short persistence in the organism and present a perfect complementarity of their action spectra.

INDICATIONS
Treatment of internal parasitosis in sheep: gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodoses, monieziosis.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Oral use at a single dose of 2.0 ml suspension / 10 kg bodyweight, corresponding to 7.50 mg of Levamisole and 5 mg of Praziquantel / kg of bodyweight.
CONTRAINDICATIONS AND INTERACTIONS
- Do not use in dairy females whose milk or its derivatives are intended for human consumption. Do not use in equines.
- Do not use in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
- Do not combine with organophosphates and specialties containing diethylcarbamazine citrate.
SIDE EFFECTS
If the general conditions of use are respected, no side effects are observed.
