PHARMACEUTICAL PROPERTIES
ATLAXACIN is an antibacterial from the fluoroquinolone group. It is characterized by its rapid bactericidal action (by inhibition of DNA gyrase) on most pathogenic germs in poultry. Its good oral bioavailability and its large volume of distribution allow very high tissue concentrations of enrofloxacin to be obtained.

INDICATIONS
Treatment of infections caused by germs sensitive to enrofloxacin in poultry: ATLAXACINE is particularly recommended for the treatment of the following infections: mycoplasmosis, colibacillosis, infectious coryza and Salmonellosis in broiler chickens, breeding hens and turkeys.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
ATLAXACIN is to be used orally in drinking water at a dose of 10 mg / kg / day, i.e. 10 ml of solution per 100 kg of bodyweight per day, for 5 consecutive days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS AND INTERACTIONS
Do not use in laying hens or turkeys whose eggs are intended for human consumption. Do not use in patients with liver and kidney failure. In vitro antagonistic effects have been observed when fluoroquinolones are combined with bacteriostatic antibiotic agents such as macrolides or tetracyclines and phenolics.
Co-administration of substances containing aluminum or magnesium with the drug may decrease the absorption of enrofloxacin.
